Leading boutique law practice is looking for an IP Attorney based in stellenbosch.

The key responsibilities for a midlevel attorney in an IP litigation position include:

Handling intellectual property disputes, including High Court litigation and other dispute resolution procedures.

This involves:

• Drafting letters of demand
• Filing and managing South African trademark oppositions
• Handling foreign dispute matters with correspondent attorneys
• Providing advisory work on trademarks, copyright, domain names, company name objections, and watching services.
• Drafting and reviewing IP-related agreements.
• The desired qualifications and experience include:
• Law degree from a reputable university
• Admitted attorney in good standing with the LPC
• Fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law
• 3 years of relevant experience in a midlevel role
