Mid-Senior Data Engineer (1-Year Contract) (CPT Hybrid)
PERFORM complex data transformations and optimizations as your expertise as a Mid-Senior Data Engineer is sought by a dynamic Education Specialist to fill a 1-Year Contract role.
You will design and develop ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), stored procedures, and scripts while building and maintaining data warehouses and data marts.
The successful incumbent must possess a suitable IT tertiary qualification with 5-10 years Data Analysis/Engineering experience including a solid understanding of relational database concepts and normalization and performance tuning and indexing. You will also need to be proficient with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI & SQL.
DUTIES:
Design and develop ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), stored procedures, and scripts.
Build and maintain data warehouses and data marts.
Ensure data quality and accuracy across all systems.
Perform complex data transformations and optimizations.
Support reporting teams with high-performance queries.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
Assist in database design, modeling, and tuning.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications -
Relevant IT tertiary qualifications.
Experience/Skills –
5-10 Years Data Analysis/Engineering experience
Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
Solid understanding of relational database concepts and normalization.
Experience in performance tuning and indexing.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Power BI.
