Mine Design and Scheduler SF at Sibanye-Stillwater

The Appointee should:

• National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or Adult Senior Certificate with numeracy and literacy
• COM Advanced Survey/ COM Advanced Evaluation/ Drafting qualification/ Mining related qualification (Shift Supervisor & Mine Overseer CC).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the MRM environment
• Competent in MS Office suite computer skills commensurate with the role.
• Efficient in CAD Design and Scheduling Planning systems and applications.
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment

Advantageous Qualifications:

• Understanding of underground mining or survey environment
• Technical background will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a service to support Operational requirements. Integrate appropriate information from Mining / Technical disciplines into CAD Design & Scheduling environment. Adherence to Monthly Planning procedures and provide quality consolidation. Short, Medium and Long Term mine planning as well as project scenario options (MES & LOM). Application of modifying factors, losses, benchmarking, rates and inter-dependencies. Evaluation of production profiles, Gant Charts, Ore Reserve analysis. Interpretation of relevant geological structure models. Assurance reviews, presentations, best practices and maintain systems which are auditable. Analysis of scheduled CADSmine outputs and interpretation of the data. Maintain tracking systems and corrective action options for identified deviations from plan. Gather input required for mine scenario plans (Engineering, HR, R.E., Geology etc.)
