    Mr D - Insights Manager

    Key responsibilities / accountabilities: 

    • Data analysis and reporting:
    • Collect and analyze customer data from various sources, including App events, transactional data, customer surveys & reviews.
    • Identify trends and patterns in customer behavior and preferences.
    • Segment the customer base to create targeted marketing campaigns and personalized experiences.
    • Utilize data analytics tools and software (Google Big Query, Looker, Excel, Braze, Firebase) to extract actionable insights.
    • Create and present regular reports (and dashboards) to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BI & Analytics, Merchandising, Marketing, Product) to ensure alignment with customer insights.
    • Develop and maintain performance marketing benchmarks to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
    • Identify opportunities & strategies focused on: 
    • high-value customer growth & retention
    • Reactivation of dormant customers
    • Activation of unconverted users
    • Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
    • Monitor market conditions and provide recommendations for adapting to changes in the competitive landscape.
    • Customer Insights:
    • Utilize customer feedback, surveys, and behavioral data to gain insights into customer needs and preferences.
    • Collaborate with customer support and marketing teams to improve the customer experience.

    Qualifications and experience: 

    • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma and 5+ years technical experience in a relevant field.
    • Experience using BI reporting tools (e.g. Looker, QlikView, Tableau, Microsoft BI, etc.)
    • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Braze & Firebase (or equivalent platforms) would be beneficial.
    • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably with a focus on customers.
    • SQL experience will be beneficial.
    • Familiarity with performance metrics, KPIs, and digital marketing is advantageous.
    • High proficiency in working with large data sets and business models
    • Retail or e-commerce industry experience beneficial
