    National RewardsManager - Sandton

    Job Purpose:

    To develop and manage all trade reward schemes across all segments and all platforms with objective of profitable volume growth

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    • Full BEES Rewards management in line with Global KPI and local opportunities including collaboration with B2O and Tech Sales
    • Informal redistribution Scheme management, with monthly after action reviews and return on investment analysis.
    • Formal redistribution scheme management, including loading of On Invoice Discounts, management of reporting and working with Formal Wholesale Account Manager to optimize reporting and scheme, including Market Share analysis
    • Club B Black Trade Scheme management, with monthly after action reviews and return on investment analysis.
    • Developing strategy to achieve business objectives across all trade schemes.
    • Building and managing budgets for trade schemes across Sales and Discounts Package. 
    • Developing and monitoring key performance indicators for all trade schemes.
    • Piloting new trade schemes and testing return on investment
    • Quarterly incentive trip management

    Key roles and responsibilities continued :

    • Build superior knowledge and understanding of the market including shoppers, consumers, customers, categories, and competitors
    • Manage and implement sales trackers, targets and incentives
    • Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships
    • Build strong relationships with local key stakeholders including but not limited to Sales Managers, Districts Managers, CXC Stakeholders etc.
    • Provide commercial inputs into the business S&OP process,

    General:

    • Monthly budget tracking.
    • Investigating cost saving initiatives.
    • Managing external stakeholders.
    • Team management and capability building

    Profile:

    Minimum requirement: Relevant:

    • 3-year Business Degree
    • 5 years+ relevant commercial experience, including experience of best practice Sales, Marketing and Customer marketing in a FMCG environment 
    • Evidence of outstanding coaching and consulting skills
    • Strong bias for action and learning through in-market pilots and tests 
    • High EQ (needs to interact and work with different functional perspectives) 
    • Ability to influence the agenda and lead from front to develop and embed new ways of working, and a culture of inspired thinking 
    • Strategic, analytical and creative thinking with strong intellectual curiosity 
    • Ability to brief/manage agencies for creative outputs that meet strategic intent 
    • Good planning  & problem-solving skills 
    • Commercial skill and financial acumen (Financial planning in terms of budgeting and budget management)
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills 
    • Able to quickly and consistently reduce concepts to effective action 
    • High energy level
    • General  & People management skills
    • Team player with outstanding interpersonal skills
