Primary Responsibility of the NOC Engineer is to be the first point of contact to internal staff as well as Operators. This includes monitoring incoming alerts/tickets, performing triage and managing the appropriate response, which could include first line response, or triggering the Incident Managing Process. Pro-active and predictive monitoring and escalation.  The NOC engineer is expected to work well under pressure as well as to keep to strict SLA's
