requirements

• A minimum of 65% average attained in an appropriate NQF level 8 qualification with Creative Writing or Literature (inclusive of some modules in Creative Writing) as a major.
• 35 years or younger.
• South African citizenship or permanent residency status.

Recommended requirements

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good computer skills.
• Good organisational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

During the duration of the programme, it will be expected of the NESP candidate to fulfill some of the following duties:

• Lecturing,
• Tutoring,
• Mentoring,
• Research,
• Community engagement, and
• Administrative duties related to the above.
