    Office Administrator

    About the job

    • We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff have adequate support to work efficiently.
    • The candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy.
    • The office administrator ensures smooth running of our company’s offices and contributes to driving sustainable growth.
    • The position is Cape Town based only and preference will be given to PDI persons.
    • A tertiary qualification will be beneficial and proficiency in English is a requirement, as well as at least 3 years applicable experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.

    • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for management.

    • Have access to staff calendars in order to efficiently set and co-ordinate meetings.

    • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)

    • Support record keeping procedures and update of important documents and records in line with company IT staff policies and POPIA compliance.

    • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.

    • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary.

    • Manage the upkeep and cleaning of the office.

    • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned.

    • Assist colleagues whenever necessary.

     

    Employment Type

    Full-time

    Office based, Cape Town, Monday- Friday.
