Online Sales Manager at Media24 (Pty) Ltd

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute online sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share and footprint.
• Ensure sales targets are achieved for key online accounts.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are delivered.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate untapped segments.
• Monitor online accounts sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Analyse sales data and prepare reports to track performance and highlight areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with procurement and marketing teams to execute effective sales, publicity and marketing campaigns.
• Present and sell books to customers.
• Provide guidance, training and mentoring to the sales assistant.

Requirements:

• Sales experience in the book publishing or retail industry is essential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record of successfully achieving sales targets.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Valid driver's license with the willingness and ability to travel as needed.
