Operational Technology Engineer - Cape Town at Datacentrix

As the Operational Technology Engineer, it requires the managing and maintaining of technology systems critical to industrial and infrastructure operations. The responsibilities include system design, device integration, network management, cybersecurity, data analysis, troubleshooting, compliance, disaster recovery planning, and collaboration with various stakeholders. The OT engineer ensure these systems are secure, reliable, and efficient, playing a crucial role in preventing operational disruptions.

Experience in the following systems 

• Programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
• Remote terminal units (RTUs)
• Industrial control systems (ICS)
• Distributed control systems (DCS)
• Supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA)
• Manufacturing systems like Traksys \ Kronos

• Experience with VMware & Azure essential 
  Relevant qualification and experience at a minimum of 5 years.
