Operations Manager at Bolt

Job Description

• We are doubling down our efforts in South Africa and we are looking for an Operations Manager, who can sort up the supply, support the demand and grow Bolt further.
• Set up all Bolt's business and operations locally
• Develop strategic business partnerships with various stakeholders of the city
• Define, implement and optimise local operational processes and procedures
• Design and execute strategies to increase driver's engagement and loyalty while reducing churn rate
• Actively support the expansion through the rest of the country
• Have close interaction with government officials at council and state level
• Manage a team of Operations Specialists to ensure we constantly increase our supply base
• Figure out the logistics of how many drivers are needed where and when
• Identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
• Advise and closely collaborate with HQ teams such as Product, Legal or Marketing to develop and execute key initiatives

Requirements

• Have 4+ years experience in an analytical and/or entrepreneurial position
• Amazing negotiation and communication skills in English
• Be a hustler, not stopping after 20 obstacles a day
• Be passionate about new technologies and ride-hailing
• Have a data-driven analytical mindset (great Excel skills)
• Fluent English both oral and written
• Have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Economics, Finance or other analytical subject
