Operations Manager at CloudStream Global

The Operations role is based within the Financial Services Unit. The incumbent should be an inspiring leader to team members and oversee policy services, collections and retentions operations and claims processes of the insurance companies in line with internal procedures and guidelines to ensure strategic objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

• Set unit strategy in line with the Life Assurance Company
• Responsible for Billing and Collections
• Responsible for managing Claims Operations
• Responsible for managing customer complaints
• Responsible for the development and implementation of a retentions strategy,
• Management of direct and indirect reports
• Management of the performance of third parties,
• Set clearly defined objectives for each team member, lead and assist them in achieving these objectives; employ, retain,develop, integrate, motivate, remunerate and assign people to appropriate tasks, conduct performance management and ensure teamwork,
• Ensure alignment of Group strategy and fulfilment of the unit’s tasks with maximised productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications - Internal

The ideal Candidate should have technical / professional qualifications:

• A relevant 3 year Degree or National Diploma essential
• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience essential in Policy Services/ Retentions/ Collections/Claims department within an insurance company inclusive of 2 years management/leadership experience

• Matric essential and
• A minimum of 8 years relevant experience essential in Policy Services/ Retentions/ Collections department within an insurance company inclusive of 2 years management/leadership experience.
