    Operations Manager

    Description of the role and purpose of the job: 

    • Operations Manager will play an integral role in supporting the partner responsible for TA Operations by helping TA regional offices and service lines to streamline their processes, thereby promoting consistency and collaboration across the business unit operations.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Managing staff planning and analysis of staff productivity against the business units targets
    • Analysis of direct and indirect codes
    • Administration of secondees and contractors
    • Analysis of lockup
    • Reporting on sales opportunities and pipeline
    • Scheduling of training

    Skills and attributes required for the role:

    Skills:

    • Attention to details surrounding adherence to business unit’s operational processes.
    • Proven success working with and communicating with management and staff.
    • Strong analytical, verbal and presentation skills
    • Good organisational skills to ensure effective planning and prioritisation
    • Knowledge of/experience in firm’s processes and policies
    • Collaboration with supporting functions including Finance, HR, recruitment, etc.
    • Competent in using MS Office tools, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel

    Personal attributes:

    • Ability to deal with conflict
    • Maintain high level of confidentially and integrity
    • Maintain a friendly, professional manner when liaising with staff and managers, even in challenging situations.
    • Ability to multi-task, successfully handling multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
    • The ability to build collaborative relationship with good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to colleagues with differing levels of expertise and skills while championing inclusion and diversity.

    Qualifications
    Minimum requirements to apply for the role (including qualifications and experience):

    • Relevant post matric qualification(s)
    • Knowledge of firm’s support functions
    • Proven experience in an administrator and/or analysis role
