Operator Fitter (Long Grade) – REF: JW02EX/202526 at Johannesburg Water

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and repair pressure reducing valves. Monitor pressure settings on pressure reducing valves on a daily basis.
• Respond to high and low pressure in pressure reducing valves zone. Maintain and replace fate valves, butterfly valves and air valves.
• Replace bulk meters as directed. Maintain valve chambers. Enforce safety at the workplace according to OHASA and JE safety procedures.
• Ensure that all orders, check sheets and overtime sheets are filled in correctly before end of the shift. Fill vehicle inspection sheets, logbook daily and submit to the Operations Manager. Submit petrol slips once a month as per the JW Vehicle Policy. Do standby and overtime as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 10 or NQF2
• 2 years relevant experience
• Valid code C1 driver’s license with PrDP
