Outbound Controller at Alstom

Mission

• Facilitate the transfer of stock from picking to lineside
• Goods issue posting for complete built units to customers
• Material master updating and maintenance
• Designate & maintain logistics applicable parameters in SAP.
• Facilitate picking process and order preparation for line-feeding
• Ensure timeous availability of relieved packaging for replenishment
• Liaise with production control to ensure alignment on planned orders
• Communicate & facilitate stock shortage occurrence
• Consolidate system data for weekly reporting.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives in the warehouse for improved work procedures.
• Communicate & coordinate with inventory & inbound control
• Any other tasks as assigned sporadically

Measurements

• On time in full deliveries to line side.
• Goods issues completed against delivery time

Candidate Requirements

• Matric Senior Certificate
• Applicable logistics qualification will be beneficial
• Knowledge of ERP (SAP ECC6).
• Ability to apply problem solving techniques.
• Analytical & systems thinking ability.
• Microsoft office competent
