Outbound/Dispatch Manager at JD Group

Job Purpose

Manage the Service Centre Outbound function to achieve a reliable, efficient and cost effective delivery service to internal and external customers in line with established Service Level Agreements, budgets and targets. 

• Manages the efficient delivery of goods to customers
• Manages the execution of pick-ups, returns, re-deliveries and collections
• Monitors and executes stock control, billing, protection of assets and adherence to policy
• Implements and maintains compliance to relevant safety policies and procedures
• Deals with customers in a customer centric manner and enables customer centricity within the department
• Human resources management 

 Education and Experience 

• Grade 12, relevant logistics qualification
• 5 – 7 Relevant retail and customer service experience certificate with 2-3 years transportation management, reverse logistics or customer service experience, or 5 years general Supply Chain experience)
