Outbound Operations Associate (Storeman) at Caterpillar Inc.

Role Summary

• As an Inbound associate your responsible for Receiving, unloading and placing incoming inventory items appropriately at the staging areas, inspect parts for defects and damages. You will also be responsible for performing an array of duties such as deconsolidation of parts into cages, trolleys and put away of parts in locations.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Receiving, unloading, and placing incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Processing and put away parts accurately into locations
• Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory accurately.
• Always inspect products for defects and damages.
• Examine ingoing and outgoing deliveries.
• Unload and stage parts from trucks onto the warehouse floor.
• Deconsolidation of parts
• Inspect parts for quality and specification adherence.
• Develop productivity results in alignment with individual KPIs.
• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment / Warehouse keeping
• Responsible for locating and gathering parts
• Scanning parts to assist in tracking goods and handing items off to be picked

What will put you forward:

• Matric or equivalent qualification/certification in SCM/Logistics
• Previous Warehousing experience
• Experienced Licenced MHE Driver
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work shifts

Additional Information

• Onsite, five days a week.
• Ability to work shifts
