Outbound Sales - Edenvale at Shoprite Group of Companies

Purpose of the Job    

We are searching for Outbound Sales to join our fun, fast-paced, growing team and take on full responsibility for converting sales leads into customers. The ideal candidate must be an effective communicator, driven and passionate team player and result driven.

Job Objectives    

• Contact prospective customers by both telephone and email
• Up sell additional products as need arises
• Use database, or other software to track progress with new prospects
• Report weekly sales goals and objectives to management
• Negotiate with clients
• Maintain contact with existing clients to make sure they are satisfied
• Attend trainings to stay up to date with the service offerings
• Managing administration, communicating, and coordinating with internal departments.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Identifying, escalating priority issues, and reporting to the high-level management. 

Qualifications    

• Previous working experience of Outbound Sales
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Networking aptitude
• Fearless attitude and a hunter mentality
• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
• Able to maintain customer confidentiality.
• Able to react effectively and calmly

Experience    

• Daytime Shift Open Availability:
• Monday through Friday.
• 7h 45 a.m. to 16h45 p.m.
• Sat 7h 45 a.m. till 15h00 p.m.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal with proper grammar.
• Ability to work with others in a close manner.
• Good computer skills.
• Good multi-tasking skills.
