Part-time Lecturer: isiXhosa Second Additional Language: Department of Foundation Phase, Faculty of Education Faculty at Cape Peninsula University of Technology

Job Purpose

• The objective is to fill the position of isiXhosa Second Additional Lecturer in the Foundation Phase Department with a part-time staff member with expertise in this area 
• The successful candidate will teach isiXhosa Second Additional Language to Foundation Phase students
• Part-time contract not exceeding 24 hours per month at a rate of R275 per hour

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• A relevant Master’s degree 
• At least two (2) years’ relevant lecturing experience at tertiary level or five (5) years’ relevant teaching experience at school level
• A teaching qualification 
• Specialized knowledge of teaching isiXhosa at Second Additional Level
