    Payroll Administrator (Epping)

    Description

    • Fine Chemicals Corporation requires the services of a highly competent Payroll Administrator in the Administration Department. To be considered for this position, candidates must fulfill the following requirements.

    Requirements

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Relevant qualification in Payroll Administration, HR, Finance, or a related field
    • A minimum of 5 years’ solid end-to-end payroll experience is needed
    • Experience in payroll administration and statutory requirements
    • 1-2 years of Supervisory experience is required
    • Must be computer literate and proficient in the MS Office suite of products / Sage VIP
    • Experience with both salary and wage payrolls is required
    • Solid understanding of South African labour laws and related tax regulations would be beneficial

    BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS (Brief Summary):

    • Maintenance of the time and attendance systems.
    • Execute weekly wages and monthly salaries for all staff.
    • Updating of leave records.
    • Compile absenteeism reports for managers & supervisors.
    • Generate reports for management including participation in the annual budget process.
    • Timeous submission and payment of all statutory contributions and other third-party payments.
    • Handling of all provident fund & medical aid queries.
    • Payment of casual staff & temporary employees.
    • Payroll job costing of all New Product Development and Capex Projects.
    • Updating and maintaining the Payroll System master files.
    • Maintenance of Medical Aid rates on the payroll system.
    • Mentor, lead, and manage staff to ensure inter and intra-department cohesion and teamwork, a culture of performance to set standards and compliance to GMP, quality, and good corporate governance.
