    People Management Intern (Afrimat Mining Services – Henley On Klip)

    Responsibilities (but not limited to the following)

    • Driving awareness, acceptance, and adoption of the Afrimat Way
    • Assist with the WSP, ATR and Training Matrix
    • Assist with Individual Development Plans
    • Coordinate and implement all Learning & Development with assistance
    • Asses the skills development needs of the organisation and the employees
    • Loading of training cost and documents on HRIS (Sage People 300)
    • Assist with Monthly Reports
    • Assist with wages payroll
    • Coordinate Intern, Learnerships and Inservice training presentations and engagement
    • Perform administration functions in support of the People management team

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

    • Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology/ Human Resource Management
    • At least 1-year experience in Organisational Training and Development. SDF Qualification will be an advantage
    • A working knowledge of the mining SETA and the MQA
    • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel. PowerPoint and outlook
    • Sage People 300 an advantage
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable car, together with the willingness to travel to various sites across SA
    • Excellent administration, organisational and communication skills (written & verbal)
    • Shows commitment, takes ownership of work and has the proven ability to attention to detail
    • Works well under pressure and thrives in fast paced deadline-oriented environment
    • Lives and be aligned the values and Afrimat Way
    • Be prepared to work after hours and work away from home when needed
    • Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
    • Will be able to work independently as well in a team environment
