    People Manager

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

    • Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, or a related field (Honours degree advantageous).
    • Minimum 8–10 years’ generalist Human Resources experience, including a proven track record in an HR management role.
    • Experience within a mining, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment will be advantageous.
    • Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA, Skills Development Act) and CCMA processes.
    • Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and organisational development.
    • Strong knowledge of payroll, HR administration, and HR information systems.
    • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Must be dedicated, ethical, professional, and results-driven.

    Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

    • Lead and manage all Human Resources functions at the Lichtenburg Cement Factory.
    • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned to business objectives.
    • Manage the full recruitment, selection, and onboarding process.
    • Drive employee relations, including discipline, grievance handling, and CCMA representation.
    • Oversee performance management, training, and development initiatives.
    • Manage payroll input, HR administration, and accurate record-keeping.
    • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, employment equity, and company requirements.
    • Drive employment equity, skills development, and transformation initiatives.
    • Partner with line management to support operational and people objectives.
    • Develop, coach, and mentor the HR team.
