    Sales Consultant

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

    • Minimum Grade 12
    • National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Commerce or related field will be advantageous
    • Minimum 8–10 years' proven external sales experience
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in construction materials, cement, aggregates, ash resources, mining or related heavy industry
    • Experience negotiating commercial agreements and pricing. Experience managing large customer portfolios and strategic accounts
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Good leadership and communication skills

    Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

    • Sales Growth & Business Development: Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities to achieve sustainable revenue growth. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales, margin and volume targets.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers. Understand customer businesses, operational requirements and future opportunities.
    • Pricing & Commercial Management: Implement approved pricing strategies. Monitor pricing compliance while protecting margins.

    Fitter

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

    • Grade 12 certificate
    • Trade Certificate as a Fitter or Fitter and Turner
    • 3-5 years of experience post apprentice on surface
    • Knowledge of cone crushers, jaw crushers and screens
    • Valid drivers license
    • Excellent time management skills and team worker
    • Willing to work independently and under pressure
    • Willing to work overtime when required

    Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

    • Liaise with the Maintenance Foreman on a daily basis to discuss maintenance/engineering breakdowns in the plant and submit job cards
    • Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment
    • Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools as well as measuring instruments and reassemble equipment
    • Must have a broad knowledge of Conveyer Belts, Vibrating Grizzly Feeder, Gearboxes, Bearings, Pumps, Crushers (4¼ Symons cone crushers, 3FT Symons cone crushers, Osborn Jaw Crusher, Tel smith T36 cone crushers) and Screens
    • Perform daily plant running inspections and greasing
    • Conduct CSS and Record Head Spins for the Crushers as per Plant AggFlow stipulated by the Maintenance Foreman. Ensure crushers are running with correct CSS
    • Monitor oil pressure, oil temperature and hydraulic pressure on cone crushers throughout the day
    • Perform daily bearing temperature inspections
    • Perform monthly oil sampling on gearboxes and crushers
    • Ensure sufficient lubrication on crushers, gearboxes and feeder
    • Executing daily planned task maintenance which includes skirting replacement, idler changes, belt scrappers adjustments, conveyor belt alignment and tension are done efficiently as per PM maintenance schedules
    • Installation of water dust suppression system for the plant
    • Maintenance of the water system for the ablution facilities, workshop, weighbridge and admin block
    • Submit Parts Requisition to the Maintenance Foreman in order to ensure critical spares availability and maintain stock levels
    • Housekeeping, safety standards and leadership
    • Mentor and train students
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

    • National Diploma or Degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Risk Management, or related field.
    • Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Training.
    • ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Certification (added advantage)
    • Minimum 2 years in a senior or supervisory safety role.

    • Support emergency response planning and implementation and maintain emergency equipment inspection records.
    • Promote a positive safety culture across the operation.
    • Mentor Health and Safety Officers and Safety Representatives, facilitate safety committee meetings and drive employee engagement in safety improvement initiatives.
    • Prepare safety reports, maintain statutory registers and safety records, and monitor key safety performance indicators.
    • Analyse safety trends and recommend improvement actions.
    • Lead internal health and safety audits, monitor implementation of audit findings and action plans, verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
    • Monitor contractor compliance with site safety requirements, conduct contractor safety assessments and audits, ensure contractors meet legal and company requirements, and participate in contractor onboarding and performance reviews

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

    • Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, or a related field (Honours degree advantageous).
