About the Role

• The DoP manages the human, financial and physical resources of the Pharmacy Department and manages the pharmacy service to a major complex across multiple hospitals/facilities within the Metro South HHS. 

• This role carries full human (Band 3) resource and financial delegation (Band 6) to authorise and approve the drug expenditure for the hospital(s) and operational running costs of the department.

• Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
