JOB DESCRIPTION
Cadiz Asset Management are looking for a Portfolio Manager Assistant, based in our Cape Town offices, to provide portfolio management administrative support.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These may include, but not be limited to:
1. Portfolio implementation.
2. Team liaison between portfolio manager and the investment team.
3. Performance reporting.
4. Data collection from various service providers.
5. Weekly, monthly and quarterly economic commentary.
6. Updating stock sheets, both local and international.
7. Updating fund fact sheets.
8. Collate presentations.
9. Report generation.
10. Other general duties.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
1. Recent finance graduate.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
1. Business Science degree.
2. Economics degree.
3. Business degree.
4. Other relevant graduate qualifications.
COMPETENCIES AND PERSONALITY ATTRIBUTES
1. Any exposure to Morningstar, Bloomberg or FactSet advantageous.
2. Highly competent in Excel.
3. Detail orientated.
4. Passion for investments.
5. Committed and willing to work long hours.
6. Driven to be highly successful.
7. Ability and willingness to learn quickly.
8. Ability to think outside the box.
9. Calm in the face of adversity.
10. Team player.
Remuneration
