A BSc Eng or BEng in an electrical engineering field and registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA (Pr. Eng)
A minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant experience, inclusive of sound knowledge of electrical design (all building trades), design review capability, construction and analysis of urban infrastructure /bulk structure/ coastal engineering projects
MS Projects/ Primavera P6, Microsoft Office
Electrical design software experience
Valid Code B driver’s licence is advisable
Preference would be given to candidates with MV/ LV reticulation/distribution, HVAC/ fire detection, access control and alternative energy solutions related experience
Key Performance Areas
Provide technical input and advisory service to all directorates/ departments across the City (multidisciplinary)
Provide input and review project plans (pre-engineering)
Provide contractual management advice to directorates/departments i.e. GCC, FIDIC, JBCC, NEC, NT PSP etc.
Assist with contractual disputes during project execution
Provide and independent technical review services
Provide independent input into technical specification reviews.
