Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):

• Knowledge of the Infection Prevention and Control Standards. Knowledge of the disciplinary code and procedure as well as the Health and Safety Regulations. Knowledge of basic Contract Management. Good interpersonal skills. Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Experience:

• Appropriate porter experience within a hospital environment and experience in checking and handling of oxygen cylinders.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7).
