EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
5 year’s Supply Chain Management Experience at Middle Management level in a highly regulated Supply Chain Management.
5 years’ experience in leading a team at Middle Management level.
Knowledge of and experience in working with Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations.
Knowledge of and experience in working with Municipal Finance Management Act.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
To ensure all purchases of the company are done within legislation provisions and requirements.
Facilitate the formulation and implementation of SCM policy and standard operating procedures.
Formulate and implement the SCM operational plan that is aligned with the Finance strategy.
Guide Procurement functions with overall responsibility to develop and maintain an efficient Procurement service in line with the MFMA, SCM Policy of the entity and the Procurement Regulations.
