Product Content Writer (eCommerce) at Potentiam Limited

Purpose of role

• Joining an existing Marketing team, the purpose of the role will be to increase the digital content output on their e-commerce websites, primarily using Magento as the content management system and create high-quality content for a range of new products, whilst ensuring that existing product ranges remains up to date.

Duties and responsibilities

• Plan, research, write and review high-quality, SEO-friendly product content across digital properties to ensure users are presented with accurate, informative and engaging material
• Upload and style the product page content onto web platforms, featuring appropriate images / videos / tables and more.
• Create clear and original copy for other uses when required, including service descriptions, blog posts, trade articles, reports and more 
• Work to ensure all projects are completed on time

Skills/Experience 

• Good communication skills, with a focus on high-quality written content
• A high level of accuracy, with strong editing and proofreading skills
• Capable of creating content around technical subjects
• Familiarity with CMS systems, Magento preferably
• Copywriting experience advantageous
• Comfortable working as part of a team, offering input and ideas
• Previous experience of commerce websites advantageous
• Familiarity with SEO practices
