2 to 5 years’ experience preferably in a budget analytical environment
Self-motivated and resourceful
Experience in analysing large amounts of data and creating concise reports.
Knowledge of SAP or an ERP environment is advantageous
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, V-look up)
High-end analytical and numeric skills.
Proficiency in the English language both written and verbal.
Key Performance Areas:
Providing support to the immediate supervisor in respect of the preparation and compilation of the annual Corporate Capital
Budget, multi-year Capital Budget and Adjustments Budgets
Affecting budgetary amendments on the SAP system during the course of the financial year, to provide reliable, accurate and timeous financial information to ensure the integrity of the capital budget
Reviewing, analysing and constructing a proposal in support of policy review to comply with statutory, legislative and internal requirements to ensure effective and efficient internal monitoring and control of budgetary related processes.
Communicating with fellow professionals as well as internal and external clients in a customer centric manner in order to work on issues of common interest and/ or to share information
Drafting e-mails to give information and resolve queries or problems.
