This is an Risk Administrative Management Systems Operator role providing assistant coverage for Senior Managers within the Risk Engineering Division. Develop a strong understanding of the Risk Engineering line of business
Work directly with our consultants on a variety of client deliverables
Provide advanced level support in the full Microsoft Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel – particularly the latter.
Occasional support wrt report formatting
Seek and participate in key learning and development opportunities/maintain steady progress
Participate in team meetings and support the capturing and completion of next steps and action items
Support administrative needs of leaders in partnership with other administrative staff
Develop and manage a competent filing system.

Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels

Support the collaborative team environment by partnering with other administrative staff on workflow and client projects
Provide limited assistance in new business activities – market research, presentation creation.

Build strong relationships with clients particularly administrative support; serve our clients in a professional and collaborative manner
The Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred or project administration experience
Associates degree is a plus
3+ years’ experience in a professional services environment
Experience in providing administrative support to multiple parties simultaneously
Proven experience in managing operating systems relating to the Risk Engineering workflow from proposal stage through to invoicing stage including other interconnected administrative functions in between
Strong interpersonal and project/time management skills
Ability to communicate openly and effectively both verbally and in writing
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel; Microsoft certification is a plus
Strong organizational skills, with proven experience prioritizing work and coordinating several projects at one time
Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor
A strong focus on detail and accuracy of work
Ability to take full ownership of assigned work
An innate desire to produce high-quality work and earn respect
Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and customer service skills
Flexibility: able to adapt to different people and work assignments
