Project Lead (Cape Town) at Democratic Alliance

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Planning, developing and coordinating large and complex projects throughout the Party through all phases
• Supporting and assisting the Chief Operations Officer and/or Operations Director in successfully and efficiently executing matters relating to the business operations and administration of the Party

Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Project management experience
• Ability to manage various projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
• Proficiency in more than one language of which one must be English
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proven track record of initiative, problem solving and the ability to recognize and implement improvements to systems
• Problem solving and the ability to recognize and implement improved systems
• Systematic, comprehensive and displaying excellent attention to detail with strong administrative skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to function well in a highly stressful environment
• Ability to function well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
