Project Manager - Tenders (2 Posts) (3 Years Fixed - Term Contract)
A minimum B degree or B Tech, applicants with Project Management Degree will be given preference
At least five (5) years’ relevant experience as a Project Manager in Information Technology (IT) Environment
Experience in a local / provincial / national government, including SCM practice and regulation would be beneficial.
Solid experience in engagement, presentation and advisory role at executive level.
Computer proficiency in Project Management tools
Key Performance Areas
Serve as moderator of technical specifications and requirements to capture business, user and operational requirements for CAR Programme tenders and contracts.
Supporting, guiding and advising stakeholders to allow for the efficient implementation of tenders on the Demand Plan as well as ensure compliance.
Pursue a comprehensive understanding of the local government environment and SCM practice within local government.
Assisting line with the quality assurance of technical requirement specifications and any other related project and tender documentation.
Manage and support the full tender / contract lifecycle from demand, through tender implementation to contract management in compliance with the SCM policy, associated statutory guidelines and relevant industry standards.
Plan and implement all deliverables in accordance with project management principles and practices.
Management and monitoring of processes to ensure adherence to timelines.
Draft reports and correspondence to facilitate the functioning of the CAR Programme
