Project Managers: Trade Remedies I & Trade Remedies II (Ref: No: ITAC 9/2024) at International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC)

Requirements: 

• A degree in Economics, Business Economics or Accounting.
• Three years’ experience as an Investigator, Economic/Financial Analyst or Auditor.
• An understanding of trade remedies instruments and their role in economic development.
• An understanding of the role of the multilateral trading system. Leadership qualities and ability to work independently and in a team.
• An ability to communicate effectively. Professional conduct and ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds.  

Key Responsibilities: 

Accountable to the Senior Manager, the Project Manager will:

• Conduct and manage investigations relating to Trade Remedies.
• Manage investigation teams assigned to specific investigations.
• Research and analyse information and present findings as may be required.
• Give input in preparation of position papers on topics emanating from trade remedies investigations.
• Liaise with various stakeholders in different levels in carrying out various duties and be prepared to represent the institution in various forums from time to time.
