Help to create the optimal climate for the company's business by providing strategically focused, high quality public affairs services.
Initiate, manage & maintain the company's employee communication program
Support executives with internal communication needs including drafting organizational announcements, initiative-specific communications and internal talking points or coordinating events as needed
Internal written communication: newsletters, publications, intranet, emails
Promote volunteerism and organize initiatives for staff to attend/participate
Build relationships with senior management and secure endorsement of communications plan
Provide general public affairs counsel and support to senior executives including developing public affairs plans that reflect the business/franchise goals.
Primary focus on enhancing and protecting the bank's reputation in the marketplace against a defined set of constituents: employees, clients/customers, media and industry influencers, government/regulators.
Maintain and execute crisis management plans when required
Manage/coordinate special events, conferences/seminars and sponsorships
Identify key events in which individuals should participate
Assist Employee & Client communications with regional efforts as needed
Assist Community Development with regional projects as needed;
Draft communication material including presentations and speeches
Feed the bank's global portals and publications with local news and, in parallel, promote the bank's franchise within the organization
Assist Regional Public Affairs Officer in drafting communication materials, including press releases for the media, communication material targeting employees and customers, and specific publications
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the group, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
