    Regional Credit Manager

    Mission

    • To control the entire credit granting process including the consistent application of the credit management policy, periodic reviews of existing customer credit granted and assessing of credit worthiness of potential customers across the Southern African Region


    Job Description / Main Tasks Or Duties

    • Maintain and ensure adherence to the credit policy of Epiroc Southern Africa
    • Collections management
    • Maintain a relationship with credit rating partner
    • Fulfil Key Customer management role in the debt collection process
    • Understand customer processes and ensure internal adherence to those to ensure timeous payments from customer
    • Collaborate with operational teams on customers credit worthiness and collections management
    • Perform month end tasks related to reporting of aged receivables
    • Calculate and advise on monthly bad debt provision requirements
    • Carry out additional duties as may become necessary to ensure successful operations of the regional companies with a focus on maintaining a low level of overdue receivables
    • Participate in internal, external, tax audits and projects as applicable.
    • Be part of a regional finance team and collaborate with the Regional Centre of Excellence.


    Qualification Required

    • Relevant tertiary qualification or Institute of Credit Management accreditation


    Skills And Experience

    • Previous experience in a Senior Credit Control or Credit management role required.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in working in a multinational organization will be an advantage.
    • Fluency in English is a key requirement.
    • Good Legal Statutory Knowledge And Experience Is Required.
    • Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and accounting systems.
