Regional Operations Director - Secure Solutions at G4S

The Regional Operations Director the provision of quality contractual and ad-hoc cash solution services to customers within the region, in compliance with legislation, company policies, processes and procedures,to ensure the achievement of budgeted financial targets, satisfied customers, sound business ethics and mitigate risk in the business.

Key Performance Areas:

• Ensuring the effective management of the regional financial performance via Revenue Growth, Gross Margin Improvement, PBITA Improvement and maintaining overhead cost control
• Management of the Region’s cash flow
• Effective management of staff within the region by ensuring staff turnover analysis is conducted, Making sure that proper allocation of staff to positions within the structure are maintained
• Setting and agreeing on objectives and performance standards with staff, including understanding of policy and procedures
• Monitoring performance and providing feedback on effective staff performance
• General management of daily operations, ensuring that Customer Focus and Customer service delivery is maintained and improved
• Making sure that quality audit rating, correction plan in place and implemented to maintain Quality of Service
• Effective management of business development function by Identifying new business opportunities in the region’s sphere of operations, Monitoring and assessing the market environment in terms of competitors and current customers.Ensuring that all new business are done at profitable margins

Requirements:

• B.Com (or equivalent) qualification an advantage
• PSIRA Grade A (Registered Security Service Provider)
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in general management
• Experience of multi-site management
• Solid understanding of South African security legislation
• Experience and understanding Health and Safety legislation
