    Regulatory Training Development Specialist

    About Compliance

    • Discovery Compliance provides sound advice regarding legislation, regulation, industry standards, codes, guidelines and best practice to operational management/projects and business units through the application of Compliance Risk Management principles, policies, processes and procedures.


    Key Purpose

    • The success of Discovery is made possible by our great people. Our Compliance department is looking for a great person to join their team as a Regulatory Training Development specialist to effectively and productively create, implement and deliver robust regulatory training programmes with the focus on ensuring adherence with the Regulatory obligations imposed on Discovery.


    Areas of reponsibility may include but are not limited to:

    • Consulting with key role players and evaluating the training needs across the business.
    • Proposing of training solutions across the business based on training needs identified.
    • Designing and developing training and assessment solutions.
    • Train-the-trainer and moderation of course delivery.
    • Measure the impact of implemented training solutions and review programme designs on an annual basis (minimum).
    • Conduct ongoing training needs analysis and provide recommendations on identified gaps and training needs.
    • Delivery of specialized regulatory training courses and/or delivery of training programmes where required.

    Essential
    Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experience

    • Qualification in human resources, business administration, or a related field
    • 2+ years’ compliance experience within financial services industry
    • 5+ years’ training experience within the financial services industry


    Advantageous

    • At least 1+ years’ experience within the financial services industry to understand Products, Processes and practicalities in order to provide practical application within training programmes
    • Discovery Product understanding and experience
    • E-Learning Development tool experience (Articulate Storyline or Saba Publisher/Lectora)
