    Release Train Engineer (RTE)

    Job Description

    The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a pivotal role within the Agile framework, responsible for orchestrating and facilitating the Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution. The RTE serves as a servant leader and coach, guiding multiple Agile teams through planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and timely product releases.

    Responsibilities:

    • Agile Release Train (ART) Facilitation
    • Program Increment (PI) Planning
    • Continuous Delivery and Integration
    • Stakeholder Management
    • Coaching and Mentoring

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification required. SAFe® Agilist (SA) or Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification highly desirable.
    • Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar role in an Agile environment.
    • Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices, particularly SAFe® (Scaled Agile Framework).
    • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and foster collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or VersionOne.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on servant leadership, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
