    Reserve Sales Manager

    Job Description :

    To lead a highly effective team of Reserve sales representatives in On-Trade to win market share for Diageo and outperform the competition in sales execution and activations.

    • Lead execution of the Formal On-Trade Strategy as per defined standards of excellence in Business Plans and Cycle activity.

    • Plan for sales effectiveness on a quarterly basis to achieve critical metrics.

    • Measure and review sales outperformance of team in on trade.

    • Establish relationships with key On Trade and Redistributor customers.

    • Handle sales budget and follow Measurement and Evaluation business principles for the team. Full On-Trade database accountability.

    • Effectively recruit, coach, develop and motivate people for a high-performance culture.

    • Build collaborative relationships with key internal partners (Customer/Brand Marketing, Reserve, National Accounts, Off Trade, Sales OPS and HR).

    Experience Required

    • Commercial and financial decision-making experience including channel profitability and targeted trade investment.
    • A passion for luxury and reserve with an understanding of competitors,  distributors and key customers, their businesses and their consumers/  drinkers in the Reserve universe.
    • Good relationship skills: proven track record to influence across functions in a commercial organisation.
    • Authentic communicator with experience in working with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to train and coach the functional capability of the team.

    Qualifications

    • Suitable degree

    • Valid Driver’s licence

    Experience

    • 3-5 years Sales experience, including people leadership

    • Commercial experience in FMCG is advantageous
