    Retail Project Coordinator

    YOUR MISSION

    The Retail Project Coordinator is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of specific architectural projects within PUMA stores. The role will primarily focus on project oversight and includes tracking of project documentation, budgets and project timelines, as well as coordinating with consulting teams and working in collaboration with the Retail Team.

    This position will work in close collaboration with the Global Retail Environments to engage architecture as a primary branding vehicle for PUMA environments. In this role you are responsible for supporting and managing retail store openings, facelifts, re-fits & fixture replacements in Retail Stores throughout the Country. The Project scope is across all channels; Select, Full-Price and Outlets stores.

    KPIs

    • Manage & Maintain PUMA store platform (GSM ) From Project Initation to completion.
    • Coordination of internal functions ensuring the store is loaded successfully on the PUMA financial system. (SAP & Prism)
    • Quarterly Forecasting of budget for current and stores to be opened – monthly tracking of expenses
    • Submission of total expenses after store build out and reconcile
    • Fixed assets to be updated and monitored on a monthly basis.
    • Management of multiple development projects assigned by the Head of Retail focusing on the development & coordination of store design, concept implementation, space planning & procurement activities while monitoring the project -budgets & -timelines.
    • Development & coordination of project phasing to ensure the scheduled project delivery. Coordination of 3rd party consultants i.e. local architects, general contractors, interior fit out companies, security system planner, light system planner, acoustic system planer, multimedia (digital signage) planner, etc.
    • Provision of detailed guidance & support to the Head of Retail during the key project development phases by attending meetings with 3rd party consultants, suppliers & vendors (2/3 visits per project).
    • Supported by the Global Project Manager ensures close-out documentation and project archives are completed
    • May engage on real estate location aspects once selected by the Head of Retail, and may form opinions on location options and specifics of tenant leases
    • Provision of detailed guidance & support to the local Head of Retail during the tender development phase & contractor selection process
    • On some projects, this role will include a site presence during construction to ensure directives and priorities from the Head of Retail are prioritized and carried out.
    • Placing and tracking orders from global and local suppliers for each store project
    • Act as an interface between internal and external parties involved in the store opening and re-fit projects. Work together with business leads to deliver relevant and cost effective alternatives to Global prototypes
    • Ensure that design integrity, brand standards and specifications are met in each project throughout the region in the most cost effective way

    YOUR TALENT

    • Tertiary qualification in Project Management
    • Project Management experience of about 2 years within this industry or similar industry
    • Strong organizational, admin and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Must be able to read architect drawings
    • Intermediate level of MS projects
    • Valid Driver's license
    • Willing to travel (locally)
    • Knowledge Requirements : Shop fitting
