Retail Warehouse Assistant
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Matric
- Experience 2 - 3 years
- Location Western Cape
- Job Field Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain
Requirements
- A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12).
- 2 - 3 years’ proven warehouse experience.
- Computer literate (MS Office).
- Good communication skills (Afrikaans and English).
- Knowledge of the food and beverage, fresh produce or retail industry would be advantageous.
- Experience with luxury item handling would be advantageous.
- Valid forklift licence would be advantageous.
- Detail-orientated and hard-working individual who can multitask.
- Reliable and trustworthy, with sober habits.
- Availability to work on weekends, public holidays and overtime.
Responsibilities
- Stock receiving and storage.
- Stock picking and order consolidation.
- Perform general stock control operations in the warehouse.
- Participate in regular stock takes.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols.
- Perform general warehouse duties.
- Assist with quality checks at receiving.
