    Sale Representative - Cape Town

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric
    • Sales Training and or certification or equivalent qualification preferable
    • Experience in selling technology-based solutions in the Security and Parking Equipment industries.
    • Exposure and a passion for growing a brand and selling a solution, across the South Africa
    • Should have excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
    • Good business and financial acumen
    • Energetic, capable of working independently as well as in a team and ability to handle pressure
    • An innovator, a pioneer, with a focus on a solutions-based approach
    • Valid driver’s license and own car is essential
    • Sound planning and organisational ability
    • Must be a self-starter and motivator
    • Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales targets

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Implement the sales strategy for the Western Cape Technical Division.
    • In conjunction with the sales manager, drive sales into new markets, with innovative solutions and technologies.
    • Increase in new business sale volumes to ensure national sales targets are achieved
    • Co-ordinate and / or be responsible for tender submissions.
    • Marketing initiatives
    • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Operational and Corporate Executives
    • Execute all administrative tasks associated with the sales function
    • Compilation of the reports as directed by the Sales Manager
    • Co-ordinate all national sales events with the Sales manager
    • Monitor and report on the market and competitor activities
    • Attendance at the monthly Servest Sales Meetings
    • Establish & manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Understand the customer mind-set, issues/needs and expenditure in identification of potential needs
    • Use domain expertise and knowledge to turn customer needs into customised solutions that generate value
    • Strategic customer business reviews to ensure customer service delivery/ excellence & retention
    • Research and approach potential clients
    • Cross selling of other services offered
    • Accurate cost controls
    • Management of sales and pipeline forecast
    • Must be able to complete professional and accurate proposals, quotes and tenders to optimise the prospect of award of contracts to the company
    • Liaise with all necessary parties internally e.g. finance, operations, HR, logistics, Security division etc. to ensure a smooth and successful service implementation
