Job Overview
The core purpose of the role will be to manage relationships with Financial advisors. This position is based in Pretoria, however, travelling to outlying areas will be required from time to time.

Core duties to achieve responsibilities

• Manage relationships with Independent Financial Advisors, Corporates and Bank advisors (retain existing assets, win new flows)
• Display good working knowledge of:  Investec IMS Products (InvestecBond; Access; Retirement Annuities; Preservation Funds; Living Annuities,; Global Select Investment Portfolio and Access), Investec procedures; systems and processes regarding the placement of investments, Competitor offerings which include both product and pricing, Investec Funds (both locally and international) as well competitor funds, Confident to present on the market and current investment environment both locally and international
• The role requires the servicing of existing IFA clients and opening of new contracts for new IFA’s

Other duties and responsibilities

• Recording meetings and meeting notes of Sales Force
• Attending sales meetings and SAUT monthly meetings
• Writing quarterly assessments

Academic qualifications and technical knowledge:

• B Com or equivalent qualification
• CFP/CFA or Registered Persons Exam

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years with a reputable company
• Industry knowledge essential
• Current employment within the Investment Consulting Environment or Financial Planning Environment
• Proven track record with strong relationships within the industry

Requirements/skills:

• Good knowledge of Unit Trusts and Platform Products as well as commercial business knowledge.
• An understanding of the administrative and legal aspects of investment products.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Adviser business environment
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
