    Sales Consultant

    The Role

    Our client, a global leader in media intelligence, provides solutions to help modern PR, communication, and marketing professionals better understand their current media landscape, both in the news & social media. They have maintained a very unique culture based on a foundation and belief in people and the potential they possess, regardless of experience. 

    They are looking to hire a Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team in Cape Town, South Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pursuing new prospects and selling comprehensive media intelligence solutions as well as all stages of the sales process.

    Work Type: Full Time / Permanent

    Start Date: Immediate


    • Experience in business/sales.
    • Bachelor’s degree with evidence of high achievement in academics and extracurriculars.
    • Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Team player mentality with the ability to work independently toward ambitious goals.
    • Demonstrable experience over-performing in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.
    • Excellent organizational skills including prioritization, scheduling and time management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prospect, identify and generate new opportunities via cold calling, email, phone, Linkedin, etc. to build a pipeline of targeted prospects.
    • Manage the sales pipeline through sequential states of the sales process: prospect, initial outreach, product demo, negotiation and close.
    • Take a consultative approach with c-level executives while navigating multiple decision-makers.
    • Establish a “trusted advisor” relationship to determine needs, build value, create engagement and acceptance of solutions. 
    • Conduct activities including, outbound calls, emails, social selling and sales demonstrations with prospective clients.
    • Consistently exceed your monthly sales quota.
