    Sales Manager (Johannesburg)

    About the Role

    • We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Johannesburg. This role focuses on driving sales growth, developing strategic relationships, and enhancing customer engagement across various sectors.
    • You will be instrumental in shaping our sales strategy and ensuring the team's success in meeting business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance and maximize sales potential.
    • Monitor sales metrics and report on performance, adjusting strategies as needed to improve outcomes.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with overall business goals.
    • Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
    • Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
    • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and strategic plans to upper management.

    Requirements

    • Proven track record of success in a sales management role, ideally within a relevant industry.
    • Demonstrable experience in developing sales strategies that align with company goals.
    • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and drive team performance.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Solid analytical skills, with experience in leveraging data to inform decisions and identify opportunities.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
    • Strong negotiation skills with a customer-focused mindset.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Additional certifications in sales management or business development are a plus.
    • Experience with digital sales channels and e-commerce strategies.
    • Familiarity with the South African market and its unique challenges.
