    Sales Representative Sports Medicine

     

    The Job's Mission

    • Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Representative - Sports Medicine will promote and sell the Sports medicine portfolio products, services and /or solutions directly to current and new-end customers. Inform customers of new product/service introductions and pricing. Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.

    About The Role

    • Call on Orthopedic surgeons via rooms, in theatre, hospital tearooms
    • Have to sell on a daily basis
    • Admin – weekly & monthly reports, stock take, quotes for repairs & product orders
    • Call on Matrons, scrub sisters, pharmacy managers, CSSD sisters, stock controllers
    • Conduct regular workshops with doctors, scrub sisters, CSSD sisters
    • Constant online trainings for development
    • Collaborate with team as well as other divisions
    • Scrub up for theatre cases – CRICE certified
    • Travel is 70-80% of the time
    • Reside in the territory of Southern Suburbs (South Africa), ideally in Cape Town

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • 3+ years Surgical Sales experience in the Medical Devices industries (working with Surgeons in operating rooms)
    • Experience in the Sports Medicine or Orthopaedic field will be a plus
    • Diploma or Degree in related field (Higher Education preferable)
    • Knowledge of Medical Device environment & Medical Device regulations is a must
    • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English
