Relevant teaching qualification from a recognised institution.
A post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in teaching, assessment, moderation, monitoring, and evaluation.
Experience in developing learning and teaching material and assessment practices according to CAPS requirements and the needs of the students.
Ability to teach in multi-level classrooms.
An excellent all-round knowledge and passion for the subject.
An ability to be flexible with a willingness to embrace rapid changes in education and an interest and ability to integrate IT into your teaching and learning and to progress the development of, and delivery of, online learning and assessment.
An unequivocal commitment to working as part of an accomplished team and an ability to take initiative and to act decisively.
Ability to inspire and encourage students to seek and maintain high standards of performance.
A sound and progressive understanding of the South African education context, South African curriculum and international trends in education.
