Responsibilities

Job Description

• Monthly SCE's – inventory valuation assessment (standard cost estimates/ inventory valuations); incl SOX prep

Monthly MOH (plant controllable costs) closing including:

• Accruals
• Journal preparation
• Analytics of actuals vs PY vs AOP vs LE
• Management reporting with insights & correction action and tracking performance
• MOH Forecasting (weekly, monthly, annual)
• Manufacturing inefficiencies/ usage/ wastage reporting to Site management (incl SOX prep)
• Risk stock management (prov for expiring/ expired stock)
•  Daily/ weekly controls on price movements, consumptions & certain material movement types
•  CSA monitoring and support to manufacturing sites
• AOP COGS budget (MOH)
• Annual activity rates calculation and update on SAP
• Plant support wrt processes and controls
• Plant support wrt SAP, master data, special projects
• Assist sites with remediation of internal audit findings
• Plant support wrt various manufacturing reports
• Commercial support to marketing (costings on innovation, renovation, promotional activity)
• Attendance of various meetings (operational, supply chain, EBP, marketing projects)
• Reconciled accounts to ensure that variances are timeously identified and resolved
• Productivity (validation, finacialising, identifying)

Experience & Qualifications :

• Experience : 5-6 years
• Qualifications: CA & CIMA qualification would be advantageous. Postgrad in Finance
• SAP costing experience
• Excel expert
• 3 – 5 years within FMCG/ manufacturing
