Appointment requirements

• Grade 12
• At least six months’ relevant experience in an administrative support environment
• Computer literacy
• Experience working with SAP and IBIS will be an added advantage
• Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost 

Primary functions

• Print pay slips for personnel
• Solve all salary enquiries
• Conduct data capturing of time sheets daily for each team and their members
• Answer the telephone and take messages when necessary
• Be responsible for leave administration
• Type letters, reports, etc
• File all correspondence in the prescribed files
• Open personnel files for new appointments
• Remove files of personnel who have resigned or passed away and file in the prescribed cabinet
• Ensure that the photocopier is in working order
• Sort and distribute daily correspondence to the designated section or official
• Conduct injury on duty administration
• Conduct administration regarding all service terminations
• Draft clinic attendance letters
• Take and type minutes at meetings
• Conduct asset management
• Man and administrate weighbridge activities
